We are aa non-profit that started as a result of the things we have seen children suffer through since covids recent stresses on low income and foster families. We want to give them 15 minutes of peace to children who may be in a situation of chaos providing them a hair cut in hopes of boosting confidence and self esteem in our younger generations. Also we want to be a safe haven of mandated reporters that they can confide in if they are in an unsafe living situation. We also plan to have student barbers instead of a large overhead so they can gain their apprentice hours to graduate and go on to start their careers along with giving. Them an opportunity to get involved in the community as well. We have lots of plans but our number one goal to achieve each time a child enters our chairs is giving them a moment to forget everything going on at home and they can just be a kid and be themselves. We plan to have art therapy while they wait for a chair, we plan to have learning videos and also being on hopefully some C.A.S.A volunteers to assist in any circumstance a child's needs at home aren't being met. We also target being available. To foster families to cut one expense out of their daily lives and one less thing foster parents have to worry about by providing them with all rhe haircuts they need and so with becoming mobile, those families of larger numbers that are discouraged by the stress of taking all of their foster kids at once to get a haircut we want to go to them. We also want to set up kid fun days and any kid who needs a hair cut in the city we are in can come and get one along with fun activities as well. We need some financial help to ge this mobile barbershop up and running and reaching every child possible in America!
